Adventures in Scotland

I took a week long vacation in Scotland, and had a wonderful time. I decided to travel alone, braving haggis, hostels, and the Loch Ness monster in a whirlwind tour. My first two nights were spent in Edinburgh, which is an absolutely beautiful city. I went to Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, and climbed Arthur's Seat, which is an extinct volcano that overlooks the city.

I then spent three nights in Inverness. There was less to do here, but I did book an all day highland tour, which included a boat ride on Loch Ness. No sign of Nessie, but definitely some beautiful scenery.

Then I went to Glasgow for a night. I visited the Glasgow cathedral, and St. Mungo's Museum. Clearly, my obsession with Harry Potter knows no bounds.

Overall it was a wonderful trip, and I'd love to go back sometime.
